Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) announces the next generation of its FDGW family of diplexers. Designed to enable feeder cable sharing between systems in the 806 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2170 MHz ranges, the RFS FDGW5504/C series’ compact size and installation flexibility makes it an easy and cost-effective solution for network upgrades. The RFS FDGW5504/CN series diplexer is shielded by a polymer coating that protects it from the elements for indoor or outdoor use. Requiring no outer housing, the device weighs less than three pounds. It is adaptable to wall, rack or pole mounting; it can be bracketed to another in a pair, or stacked six-high in a cabinet. Manufactured from a highly selective microstrip filter, the FDGW5504/C series provides a high level of isolation between its ports, while maintaining low insertion loss in both paths. High performance peak power handling allows carriers to use multiple transmit frequencies at full power.
