Z-Communications, Inc. announces its Model CRO1900B-LF lead free, RoHS compliant, narrow-band coaxial resonator oscillator in L band (1898 to 1902 MHz), offering an ultra low (typ.) phase noise performance of –121 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 6 MHz/V (typ.), and it covers the band between 0.5 to 4.5 V, delivering 8 dBm output power (typ.) at 8 Vdc supply while drawing 41 mA (typ.) over the operating temperature range of -15° C to 65° C. This VCO is suitable for narrow-band applications that require high output power and optimal phase noise performance. It comes in a package that measures 0.50 inchesࡦ.50 inchesࡦ.22 inches, and it is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
