Emerson Network Power launches its LPS200-M series of high efficiency 250 W AC/DC power supplies that feature both ITE and non-patient contact and non-patient critical medical safety approvals. The 3? × 5? × 1.5? open-frame power supplies have a typical full load efficiency of 88% and a power density in excess of 11 W per cubic inch. The supplies are intended for use in information technology equipment (ITE), light industrial systems and equipment intended for non-patient contact and non-patient critical use in low power medical, dental and laboratory applications. They offer a universal 90 to 264 V AC input, and are capable of operating from a 120 to 300 V DC input.
