Reactive Power Splitters

Microlab/FXR announces a 2, 3 and 4 way wideband reactive power splitters. They are 60% lighter than the series they replace yet retain the established reliability and exceptional bandwidth of 380 to 2,500 MHz, thus including Tetra, SMR/PMR and all cellular bands, including the new 700 MHz and 3G (UMTS). Microlab/FXR Model Dx-88FD series of power splitter is suitable for designing passive in-building wireless distributed antenna systems (DAS) now being required to meet homeland security issues. The extremely high reliability required of such DAS systems is most easily met with a passive network approach. The extremely low loss of reactive components such as the D2-88FD pictured above, help make the passive design realizable without recourse to amplifiers or other active components. Such a passive approach enhances reliability, cuts installation cost and has a very high communications survival potential in an emergency situation. Insertion loss is <0.05 dB, PIM is guaranteed to be 𤪆dBc and units are compliant to IP68 and RoHS.
