Rogers introduces the R/flex 3850 double-clad laminate. The laminate offers a low dielectric constant (D_k = 2.9) for controlled impedance. The R/flex 3850 laminate is produced in a range of copper and film thicknesses, and is available in standard panel formats. Also introduced is the RO4350i series material and the RT/duroid 6202. The RO4350i is a glass reinforced hydrocarbon/ceramic thermoset laminate designed for performance sensitivity. The RT/duroid 6202 provides the key feature of improved dimensional stability while supporting high performance requirements for applications in the 3 GHz to over 90 GHz frequency range.
