DC/DC Converters

Datel's LSN - 16A series SIP (single-in-line package) DC/DC converters enable true point-of-use (point-of-load) power processing. These non-isolated power converters take commonly available on-board voltages (3.3, 5 or 12 V) and convert them with high efficiency in the small area. LSN-16As accept 3.3/5 V inputs (3 - 5.5 range for W3 models) or 12 V inputs (10 - 14 V range for D12 models) and deliver 0.75/1/1.2/1.5/1.8/2/2.5/3.3/5 V outputs fully rated at 16 A. LSN-16A's fixed frequency (220/300 kHz), synchronous buck topologies deliver conversion efficiencies as high as 96% with output noise as low as 30 mVp-p. Their standard packages — 50.8 × 12.7 × 9.14 mm — are offered in either vertical or horizontal orientations.
